Whether you're a returning athlete or just beginning your Verot journey, this page is your go-to hub for upcoming tryouts, summer camps, and important pre-season information.
If you're a new freshman interested in playing sports at Bishop Verot, be sure to complete the Athletic Interest Form to help us get to know you and your goals.
Save the Date:
All incoming freshmen and transfer student-athletes (and at least one parent/guardian) are strongly encouraged to attend our Athletic Information Meeting on Saturday, May 4 in the Anderson Theater. We’ll cover a wide range of topics that are sure to help make your transition to Bishop Verot as smooth as possible!

Fall Sports Information
The Fall Sports Season officially begins July 27, but not every sport will begin that day.

Official tryout dates for Golf, Bowling, and Swim are not yet available, as we depend on facility scheduling.
2025-2026 Athletic Eligibility Procedure
2025-2026 Athletic Clearance registration is now open. Bishop Verot will no longer accept paper athletic packets and instead will be utilizing Athletic Clearance. All students must complete the online clearance, regardless of previous paper submissions, prior to participating in any conditioning, practices, or try-outs. NO STUDENTS WILL BE PERMITTED TO TRY-OUT, CONDITION OR PRACTICE WITHOUT FIRST COMPLETING ATHLETIC CLEARANCE

College Athletics
Making the transition from high school athlete to collegiate athlete can be a daunting task. Fortunately, Bishop Verot offers support when it comes to determining a student's NCAA Eligibility and how to navigate the entire process. Our Student Services department has some great information regarding these two topics, which can be found on the BVHS.org website.
